BBC Countryfile on Fly Grazing:

For all of you who saw Countryfile on Sunday , concerning the fly grazing. Please contact your council as its their job to uphold the law and stop this unneccessary suffering to all the horses that are fly grazed,including the ones local to us at Gilmorton, Kimcote and Lutterworth. The ponies have been enjoying the snow earlier this week with lots of extra hay to keep them warm and toasty. We were all glad of the cold snap for a few days without the mud!

All the ponies enjoyed getting dressed up as Santa's reindeer for Christmas and would like to say a very big thankyou to Mere Lane Equestrian Centre for their fundraiser on the 23rd December having raised £418.65! An amazing achievement and thankyou to all who attended.

We are looking forward to finding forever homes for Sally and Lily in the new year and also doing more work with our babies. It is nearly a year since Buddy and Jango arrived at the centre having been abandoned and we are really pleased with their progress so far.
